All of this information is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

We may collect limited, non-personally identifiable information to improve the app:

• App version and device type (for compatibility)
• Crash reports and error logs (to fix bugs)
• Anonymous usage statistics (to understand which features are used)

This information is collected anonymously and cannot be used to identify you personally.

1.3 AI Features (Focus One Pro)

If you use the Smart Timer feature, your task description may be sent to OpenAI's API to generate time estimates. This data:

• Is sent securely over HTTPS
• Is not stored by us
• Is processed according to OpenAI's privacy policy
• Does not include any personally identifiable information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Focus One app
• Fix bugs and improve performance
• Understand how users interact with features
• Process subscription payments (handled by Apple)
• Send important app updates (if you opt in to notifications)

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

Your tasks, notes, and focus history are stored exclusively on your device using iOS's secure storage mechanisms. This data:

• Remains on your device
• Is protected by your device's security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID)
• Is included in your iCloud backup (if you have iCloud backup enabled)
• Can be deleted by uninstalling the app

3.2 iCloud Sync (If Enabled)

If you enable iCloud sync, your data will be synchronized across your Apple devices using Apple's iCloud service. This data:

• Is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Is stored in your personal iCloud account
• Is subject to Apple's privacy policy
• Is never accessible to us
